Project Overview

We designed and integrated a festive in-app game for the Lendlease platform, where shoppers popped Christmas balloons to collect virtual gifts. These rewards were automatically converted into e-vouchers and Plus$ credits, creating a smooth and engaging holiday experience that connected gameplay with real shopper incentives.

Impact

Automated reward conversion and wallet crediting streamlined the entire journey. This minimised drop-offs and improved overall user satisfaction.

Gamification and instant rewards significantly increased participation rates and repeat plays. Users were incentivised to return and stay engaged throughout the campaign.

Centralised data tracking provided valuable insights into user behaviour and campaign performance. Automation also reduced manual effort, improving operational efficiency.

What We Build

Core Platforms
In-App Game Integration: Fully embedded within the Lendlease app, allowing users to access and play instantly without leaving the ecosystem. 
Reward & CRM System: Virtual gifts were automatically converted into e-vouchers and Plus$ credits, creating a direct link between gameplay and real rewards. Integration with Lendlease CRM enabled real-time tracking of participation, rewards, and user engagement.
Scalable Infrastructure: The backend system was built to support high traffic volumes during peak campaign periods. It ensured stable performance, fast response times, and reliable reward processing at scale.

Interactive Experiences
Balloon Pop Gameplay: A festive, tap-based mechanic designed to be simple and intuitive for all users. This lowered the barrier to entry and encouraged quick participation across a wide audience.
Progressive Reward Journey: Players were encouraged to return and replay through continuous gift collection and reward unlocking. This helped sustain engagement throughout the campaign period.
Real-Time Feedback & UI/UX:
Instant visual responses and reward confirmations enhanced the sense of satisfaction during gameplay. A festive-themed interface further strengthened immersion and campaign alignment.

Social & Connectivity Layer
Auto-Crediting Wallet System: Rewards were instantly credited into users’ wallets upon completion, removing the need for manual redemption. This created a smooth and frictionless reward experience.
Centralised Reporting Dashboard: A backend dashboard provided clear visibility over gameplay metrics, reward distribution, and user activity. This allowed for efficient monitoring and optimisation during the campaign.
Cross-Platform Connectivity: The experience was connected across app, microsite, and promotional touchpoints. This ensured a consistent and seamless user journey across all platforms.
